Trip to the National Museum - The Quest for Immortality + Galleries

its been such a LONG time since i posted anything. i really didnt go anywhere. :(

so a little day off to the museum is kinda refreshing. Walking through the Quest for Immortality exhibition, and a few smaller galleries.

too bad i dont have a fast wide angle lens. most of the shots are on 1600, 1/30, f1.4! yes. its that dark. i cannot imagine how the pic will turn out for the next guy w a kit lens doing handheld!

went zoo today... after almost a year! (previous trips 8 Apr 07, 23 Apr 08)
but this time round, its very overcast and no sun, so things look... greyish... somemore its so warm, all the animals all hide under trees and sleep. so dont get so many nice shots. :(

Big Walk on Water

paiseh. no photos for so many days. basically my life is very boring over the past month.

so... finally! after so many years don't have big walk.. its here again! (national stadium bluff everyone...)

screw up # 2. this is THE place where they make NEWater, YET the water-point run out of water! how can this happen?! screwup # 3 is the goodie bag collection. it feels like the whole Big Walk is a new event, the organiser like really no experience and never anticipate the bandwidth required! omg. there are more screwups, i'm just too piss then to bother anymore. the sun is killing me, no water to drink, and the stupid Cheers is selling bottled drinks @ $2 each. 杀人放火。

Singapore Science Centre

impromptu visit. 330 @ bugis. decide to go watch omni theatre. 4pm reach there n decide to go science centre too... so last minute.. i didnt bring my camera...

Singapore Zoo

went to our award winning zoo today. :D
weekdays are always better. less people... less noisy people, u get the whole enclosure to yourself, and if you keep really quiet and wait patiently.... the animals will come. :D

love my lens. luckily i brought the portrait lens. my 1.4 is oh so razer sharp! got one ang mo even say "nice lens" cos his lens not fast enough to shoot in the dark.


mousedeer! first time in my life i actually pet one on the head. need a lot of patience cos he very shy. he almost lick my lens too...


moved away to let some ang mo kids look at the mousedeer... and the mousedeer also move away a bit. photo hunt! where is the mousedeer?
